The Respect of the Lion to Muhammad's Slave
Abd- ar- Razzak, the owner of al- Musannaf (a tradition) transmitted that Safinah, the Prophet's slave, was far away from the army he joined in the land of al- Rum. So, he began searching for the army. While he was so, he saw a lion. He said to it: «O Abu- al- Harith (the nickname of the lion) I am the slave of the Messenger of Allah, God's blessing and peace be upon him and I have lost my army». The lion walked with the slave till he showed him the way to the Muslim army. When he reached to his friends, the lion snarled for an hour and that means that it (the lion) said farewell to him. Then it left him and went back. So, this is another miracle. It is a prophetic sign.
