Answering lies about Islam and Prophet Muhammad
Did Islam Ignore Slavery and legalize its existence?
Modern Fatwas: The Islamic ruling on Slavery in the modern age
The Egyptian House of Ifta (Dar Al-ifta Almasreya) on 11/06/2013 serial number 4607:
All verses in the Holy Quran concerning slaves were dealing with a contemporary situation that Islam tried to change until the world reached now international treaties to free slaves which Muslim scholars and ALL Islamic nations consented to. This happened after nations had been competing in this trade so they agreed to abolish it and hence was the international treaty to free slaves (in Berlin 1860). After this treaty, slave trade was abolished worldwide. Instead of slavery now we have imprisonment and other practices that were provided in international treaties to which all nations should abide including Muslim nations and so enslaving is totally prohibited.
Consequently, slave trade is prohibited and all humans are considered free and not liable to sold or bought. Muslims signed treaties that impose abolishing of slavery and that is compatible with the Islamic purpose to limit slavery sources and expand the means towards freedom so that all people are free as God the Almighty created them. God the Almighty knows best.
